The Best Tarot History Summary on the Web

By robert | March 1, 2008

tarotpediaTarotHistory.com is a founding member of Tarotpedia, the Online Encyclopedia of Tarot. When we first launched the site in 2006, we asked Michael Hurst (of Carte da Trionfi) to write the summary for the Tarot History page. It remains, in my opinion, the very best summary of tarot history on the web.

Totally agree with you, it is a wonderful summary and very clearly written. Apart of that, TarotPedia is such a wonderful source of information!

    Thanks Marlyse!

I’ve always hoped it could be expanded; but perhaps its brevity is what makes it most useful. It’s a clear, percise history that gives information that can then be further explored.

I’m glad you like TarotPedia too. I’m amazed at how much information has been added to it by users all over the world. There are some pages, especially in the history section, that have content that are unavailable anywhere else on the web.

thanks for dropping by the site,
    robert
